ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking time to look at my portfolio. I’m Gabbi Lumma, Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter for WSBT 22 News in South Bend, Indiana. I’m a recent alumni of Loyola University of Chicago, where I studied Multimedia Journalism and Spanish. Throughout college, I found my passion for storytelling. This quickly transcended into my involvement in student sports media, which I was heavily involved in my junior and senior years at Loyola. As a born and raised midwesterner, my interest and love for sports runs in my blood. There is nothing I love more than being able to tell the stories of teams, athletes and coaches, showcasing everything from their lives to their impact on the sport. Though my main passion lies in sports, I decided to
challenge myself as a news reporter in
